Monitor ERP is proud sponsor of Norwegian biathlete Tarjei Bø
We’re strengthening our involvement in the world of biathlon by becoming an official sponsor of leading Norwegian biathlete Tarjei Bø. With Olympic and World Cup golds under his belt – along with multiple victories in the World Cup – Tarjei is a perfect match for our continued investment in biathlon, where we’re also the main partner of the Swedish national team.
“It feels fantastic to be an ambassador for Monitor, especially considering how quickly they’ve established themselves as a key player in the sport. I’m really looking forward to our continued collaboration,” said Bø.
One of the reasons we chose to work with Tarjei was that his values are closely aligned with Monitor's ethos of commitment, long-term thinking and a down-to-earth approach.
It feels fantastic to be an ambassador for Monitor, especially considering how quickly they’ve established themselves as a key player in the sport.
“Having competed in the World Cup for 15 years, I have a long-term view. I often hear from Swedes that when we win, we’re "cocky Norwegians"! But I hope, and believe, that I’m a down-to-earth athlete who stands for fair play and is a good ambassador for our sport,” he added.
To be able to perform at his peak during this year's season, Tarjei has put in a lot of training. The fall is especially demanding, as this is when biathletes fine-tune their form and focus on the areas where they can make the most progress.
“The hard work is for one reason only: to perform at your best when it matters. This year I’ve put extra focus on improving my standing shooting, as this is really important; it’s often in these moments when competitions are decided.”
And when it comes to future goals ahead of the season, there’s no doubt.
“My goal is to win an individual medal in the World Cup, and take a relay gold together with my team. Preferably in a sprint against Sweden!” he adds.
